| Buffalo Server is an Integrated Mapping Server, which is capable of both serving and editing spatial data on the web. Maps which are created in Buffalo Studio are published for viewing on the web using Buffalo Server. Buffalo Server provides a vast range of utilities and functionality for GIS users, which have been laid out in a user-friendly, easy to understand format for ease of operation. Buffalo Server also offers basic and advanced web based editing of data and attributes, and as with Buffalo Studio, also offers searching of data. Data searches can be exported in excel format for use in other applications if necessary. The Web Interface of Buffalo Web Server can be easily modified to meet specific user requirements, with underlying web controls for features such as Layer Manager, Editing, Object Processing, and PDF export functionality. Buffalo Studio also runs on Buffalo Framework, which allows for common functionality and interoperability between Studio and Web Server. This makes for seamless integration and visualization of items such as cartography preferences, and thematic layers created using Buffalo Studio, prior to maps being published on Buffalo Web Server. |
